I won !

I can't believe that I won ! ISSA - Male Vocalist of the Year ! I am so honored. I didn't do this by myself. I had a boat load of help from some incredibly talented people.
Robert Ruby (Los Angeles) my Producer who has an incredible creative mind to bring out music I never thought was possible. Randall Thomas (Los Angeles) who does background vocals and more. He is a magician when it comes to vocals. We have sent hours and hours laughing together. Then there is Russ Paladino (New York City) who is an extraordinary sax (Horns) player who is always ready to push the envelope. He has such an incredible network of players (Like Bill Ware - Played Vibes for us).  Then there is Conor Wharton (Edmonton) from Resonate Music who records my vocals and gave me hours and hours of laughter. He is efficient and such a great talent. Last but not least Audio Animals (UK) who have mastered my music like no one else. They went above and beyond.
That covers the technical part of winning but there more ... the experiential part which is the fans ! I know that every artist says "My fans are the best" but in my case they truly are. Dedicated and loyal beyond belief ! They voted for me day after day and to me that is dedication. My family who have supported me over the years from my wife to my sister to my family in Louisiana they are always there for me.
Thank you to ISSA and Tamanie. Tamanie is a force that knows no limits. Starting from nothing she has built an organization that I am honored and humbled to a member ! Thank Tamanie.
One last note ..... There is more music coming !

Where do I begin

Well there is so much that has gone on and so much time that has passed. I released 12 singles over the last 22 months and they are doing great (available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube Music). Also I have appearded on TMZ twice and I am scheduled to appear in the New year. I have been doing live shows on Twitch and will continue in the new year and well as on Youtube Live. I have also been doing surprise Live performances on Instagram. WIth alll platforms it is really hard to perform covers because you never know when they are going to pull your video or mute the sound because you played covers. I think that it really limits the indie artist. Bigger artist have the staff and money to get the appropriatre permissions in order to do covers.
Since lasat here I had to deal with the crook that stole all my content off my web site which was costly by having my lawyer Wayne Logan get involved but everything has been some what put back to normal. I had to get a second domain which allowed me to create a store for everyone to buy swag from EMO'S STORE
but my main site at emoleblanc.com has music and is managed by Telus. They are not very familar in dealing with Musicians or performers so it is a bit of a challenge.
Christmas was good and once again my Christmas song STANDING IN LINE AT CHRISTMAS TIME is doing fantastic. My team Robert Ruby (Producer), Randall Thomas (Vocalist) and Russ Paladino (Sax-horns) have been so incredible in making things come alive. Once we have everything together Audio Animals from the UNited Kingdom master everything to bring you an incredible final sound. So to say that I am lucky to have such a fantastic team would be an understatement.
But everything that does happen would not come together without the support of my fans. There are times when I feel like throwing in the towel and a fans will come along and tell me about how they love a certain song that help them. So just remember no matter how little of a comment or support you might give to an indie artist like me, remember it does matter.
Now moving on to cover Live performances. I did performed at Taste of Edmonton which went well and they want me back for next year (2022). For the first time in 2 years I did a major venue - Roger's Placce wihich was amazing as usual and I hav to thank Robin Pelletier and Serge Gaston Soucy who joined me on stage. All other LIVE performances have been on Line. But my next performnace will be at Old MacDonald's Resort Music Festival Sept 9, 2022 at 4pm. We kick off the festival. Joining me will be Robin Pelletier (guitar), Serge Soucy(Keyboards), and Chad Melchert(drums). But you are best to check my web site to find out what shows I have coming up. You never know where I might pop up. I am hoping to get back to Texas to do some touring there and also planning to hit Seattle too ...
So stay tune because as you already know it has been an incredible ride !

Bring out the beer
