Canada's Got Talent .... The Waiting Game

As I have said I had a great time at the auditions for Canada's Got Talent. The Production Crew, Staff Helpers, and Producers were fantastic. Now all I have to do is wait until they get back to me. They said they would let people know on or before Sept 30th. The next round is in Calgary. Which should be a fun time. I have been practicing in order to stay on top of every thing and to stay sharp. I have to say that practicing over and over again PAID OFF big time ! When they asked me to perform on the spot, it was like turning on a switch on stage. I think that is what impressed the judge(s). I had no hesitation. He then asked me to play a Cover song, I did, "Peaceful Easy Feeling" by the Eagles.
So, After the Auditions I had a gig at Hooliganz Pub on 124 street, Edmonton. It was an Awesome night. The Manager Crystal is definitely a class act. She treated myself and my band with incredible care and respect. I got to play a lot of my new songs as well as some of my REALLY OLD ones. But that is what a show is all about. It is a Nice historic collection of my music. My next Performance (If I am in Edmonton) will be at the Festival of Trees, Edmonton, at the Shaw Convention Centre. Still working on a time. As soon as it is decided on, I will pass it on to you. I will be performing Christmas songs which will be a new area for me.

Canada Got Talent Auditions

I had a great time at Canada's Got Talent. There was a line up outside where you get to meet people. This was the place where you could meet two types of people: 1.) Your new friend or 2.) Your Competition. The funny thing about this theory is that which person you meet is your choice. I was lucky enough to meet my new friend and not my competition. A young out going man that had a great attitude. Folks meet Mr.Cameron White ! Cameron, is from Grand Prairie, Alberta and was cool to hang out with. He went to school to play College Baseball which got my respect immediately. He is currently acting in Miss Saigon in Grand Prairie. So I guess it comes down to attitude and how you approach the situation. Cameron had a great outlook on life, in that we should all have fun. And Fun we did have ! I don't want to say if I am progressing to the next round because I promised I would announcing it at my performance Sept 17/2011 at Hooliganz Pub.
